RELEASE: AOC Campaigns for Harris-Walz in Pennsylvania, Continues Final Push Ahead of Election Day.

New York, NY - Two days out from Election Day, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) was in Pennsylvania on Sunday for her final stretch of campaigning on behalf of the Harris-Walz presidential ticket.

On Sunday, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez delivered remarks at the Community Cafecito Roundtable with Latina leaders from across generations who have worked tirelessly to register voters, encourage turnout, and ensure their communities’ voices are heard. Through their discussion, they shared insights into the issues that drive Latinas to the polls, the power of collective organizing, and Latina leaders' vital role in shaping our country’s future. 

Next, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez traveled to the Nicetown Field Office Canvass Kick Off where she addressed a crowd of 50 volunteers. The representative thanked volunteers and stressed the importance of getting information about where to vote and voter protection resources available to the Latino community.

Afterward, the Representative attended the Vota con Orgullo Block Party with over 200 attendees. She once again stressed the importance of GOTV and delivered information on voter protection for the Latino community.

Her GOTV efforts in Pennsylvania come on the heels of campaign travel across Michigan. She joined Representatives Debbie Dingell (MI-6) and Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) for a powerful rally with UAW President Shawn Fain and UAW members at Solidarity House, delivered remarks and rallied voters at the Southwest Detroit Canvass Launch, traveled to the University of Michigan to deliver remarks at the Hotties for Harris Tailgate with Congresswoman Dingell, actor Mark Ruffalo, Harris-Walz supporters, and college students, and concluded her Michigan travel by attending a College Democrats' Tailgate.

This election cycle, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has traveled to Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, Puerto Rico, Nevada and the Hudson Valley to campaign for Democrats up and down the ticket.

New York, NY - With just a few days until Election Day, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) traveled across Michigan to kick off a final push for the Harris-Walz presidential ticket. 

Rep. Ocasio-Cortez began the weekend by joining Representatives Debbie Dingell (MI-6) and Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) for a powerful rally with UAW President Shawn Fain and UAW members at Solidarity House. 

On Saturday, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez delivered remarks and rallied voters at the Southwest Detroit Canvass Launch ahead of their GOTV door-knocking effort to encourage voters to get to the polls. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez then traveled to the University of Michigan to deliver remarks at the Hotties for Harris Tailgate with Congresswoman Dingell, actor Mark Ruffalo, Harris-Walz supporters, and college students.  Finally, Rep Ocasio-Cortez concluded her day by attending a College Democrats' Tailgate. The Representative's trip to Michigan follows an extensive weeks-long effort to move voters from the couch to the voting booth. Last week she campaigned with Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff at a Get-Out-the-Vote event to encourage University of Nevada, Las Vegas students to vote early for Vice President Harris, Governor Walz, and Democrats up and down the ballot. Rep. Ocasio-Cortez also hosted a livestream with Governor Tim Walz where they discussed the importance of social security, regaining democratic control of the US House, maintaining a majority in the Senate and ensuring Kamala Harris wins the 2024 presidential election against Donald Trump while playing Madden NFL 2025 and other video games. She also recently joined Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in Madison, Wisconsin to rally voters for the Harris-Walz ticket once again. This election cycle, Ocasio-Cortez has also traveled to Pennsylvania, Texas, and the Hudson Valley to campaign for Democrats up and down the ticket. In Puerto Rico, she endorsed a slate of La Alianza candidates campaigning for real change on the island.

NEW YORK - This Friday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) will travel to Pennsylvania to campaign for the Harris-Walz ticket, including headlining two major rallies with students and labor leaders. 

On Friday, October 18, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez will join a Students for Harris-Walz Rally at Penn State University and on Sunday, October 20, she will join a rally with United Auto Workers (UAW) President Shawn Fain in Philadelphia. 

In addition to the rallies, Ocasio-Cortez will on Saturday join her Congressional colleagues for GOTV events and on Sunday she will join canvass launches in Philadelphia.

Ocasio-Cortez’s events in Pennsylvania follow her recent travel to Texas, Wisconsin and the Hudson Valley to campaign for Democrats up and down the ticket.
