RELEASE: AOC Campaigns for Harris-Walz in Pennsylvania, Continues Final Push Ahead of Election Day.
New York, NY - Two days out from Election Day, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (NY-14) was in Pennsylvania on Sunday for her final stretch of campaigning on behalf of the Harris-Walz presidential ticket.
On Sunday, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez delivered remarks at the Community Cafecito Roundtable with Latina leaders from across generations who have worked tirelessly to register voters, encourage turnout, and ensure their communities’ voices are heard. Through their discussion, they shared insights into the issues that drive Latinas to the polls, the power of collective organizing, and Latina leaders' vital role in shaping our country’s future.
Next, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez traveled to the Nicetown Field Office Canvass Kick Off where she addressed a crowd of 50 volunteers. The representative thanked volunteers and stressed the importance of getting information about where to vote and voter protection resources available to the Latino community.
Afterward, the Representative attended the Vota con Orgullo Block Party with over 200 attendees. She once again stressed the importance of GOTV and delivered information on voter protection for the Latino community.
Her GOTV efforts in Pennsylvania come on the heels of campaign travel across Michigan. She joined Representatives Debbie Dingell (MI-6) and Rashida Tlaib (MI-12) for a powerful rally with UAW President Shawn Fain and UAW members at Solidarity House, delivered remarks and rallied voters at the Southwest Detroit Canvass Launch, traveled to the University of Michigan to deliver remarks at the Hotties for Harris Tailgate with Congresswoman Dingell, actor Mark Ruffalo, Harris-Walz supporters, and college students, and concluded her Michigan travel by attending a College Democrats' Tailgate.
This election cycle, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has traveled to Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Texas, Puerto Rico, Nevada and the Hudson Valley to campaign for Democrats up and down the ticket.
