RIVERDALE, N.Y. – Manhattan and Bryant have announced a home-and-home series in men’s basketball starting this year at Draddy Gymnasium.
The Jaspers and Bulldogs will play at Draddy Gymnasium on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m. Manhattan will play in Smithfield, R.I. next season. Next season’s date is still to be determined.
Manhattan, under interim head coach RaShawn Stores, opens the 2022-23 season on Monday, Nov. 7, at VCU. The home opener for the Jaspers is Friday, Nov. 11, against Central Connecticut State at 7 p.m.
A two-year team captain, Stores helped the Jaspers to back-to-back MAAC Championships and 71 total wins. Stores, who entered the program as a walk-on, graduated ninth in school history with 314 assists and was a Defensive All-American as a senior in 2015-16.
