FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Jaspers to Play Three Games in the Bahamas.

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan men’s basketball program will take a foreign tour to the Bahamas from August 5 – 12. The Jaspers will play three games in the Bahamas.

Manhattan’s first game will be on Saturday, Aug. 6, against the Abaco Squad. The Jaspers will also play on Aug. 9 against Raw Talent Elite and on Aug. 10 versus Discount Distributors Rockets. All three games will take place in the Imperial Ballroom at Atlantis. All games are scheduled for 7:30 p.m.

Three newcomers join the Jaspers for the 2022-23 campaign: Raziel Hayun, Omar Silverio, and Adam Walden.

Hayun arrives in Riverdale from Israel, where he played for Maccabi Haifa and the Israel U19 team. Silverio comes to Riverdale after making stops at URI and Hofstra. Last season at Hofstra, Silverio averaged 10.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game while starting 11 times for the Pride.
